Camas Christian Academy fully accepts the responsibility of providing the finest education to preschool and elementary children in the Camas, Washougal and surrounding areas. We have an excellent teaching staff with many combined years of experience. Our elementary program is taught by certified teachers who hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree, many with additional certifications in various other educational fields. Our staff maintains high educational and moral standards as we believe these characteristics are essential to our program.

Our curriculum provides opportunity for children to learn and grow academically, socially, spiritually and physically. In addition to this, we include music, dance, art, Spanish and much more into each school week. We teach the Essential Academic Learning Requirements (referred to as the EALR’s) as outlined by the state of Washington. Each child will be given the opportunity to explore, observe and ponder as developmentally appropriate. They will be taught that each of us has been created uniquely and that all life is to be valued. Each child will be valued as an individual and taught to treat others as they would want to be treated.

We believe that the foundation for a child to become a lifelong learner comes from a combination of family and school support, particularly in their early years. We understand that every child has individual strengths and weakness and that they will change and grow with each new day. Bright Futures will strive to give all children the personal attention required to take their next step in life.
